SKULL I is the most common enemy in the game by far, spawning in swarms from all SQUID.
SKULL I is seen as a jawless, flying, human cranium, with strange markings akin to a filled out crosshair deeply etched into its forehead. There appears to be significant damage at the base of the skull, where it would normally attach to the neck — this suggests that the head must have been removed with brute force.
SKULL I follows the player loosely, making wide turns rather than ferociously following the player's exact movements. It can be avoided easily, and are almost harmless if the player is constantly moving and turning. However, if the player moves straight for too long, one can easily be overcome by a swarm of SKULL I.
Depending on the SQUID that spawns it, a swarm of SKULL I will vary in size and be accompanied by another SKULL of higher rank. 9 will spawn from a SQUID I along with a SKULL II, 10 will spawn from a SQUID II, lead by a SKULL III, and 15 will spawn from a SQUID III, with a SKULL IV unleashed alongside.
